OKTOBERFEST
Our Annual Fall Festival was held October 4, 2009. What a great Octoberfest weekend we had! The weather could not
have been any better. It was good to see so many people sharing in the friendship and fun. We owe thanks to God for the beautiful
weather and all those who made Octoberfest possible. Thank you for the donations, the cakes and pies, the crews that set up and tore
down, the extra financial help, and the volunteers. We especially thank all the parishioners and members of the Chillicothe
community and surrounding areas that attended the Octoberfest events. We are blessed to be part of such a generous church
family. -- The Octoberfest Committee

God's Favorite
Dinner Theatre Fundraiser

Several cast members of "God's
Favorite," a two-act play written by Neil Simon, rehearse a scene during practice at Bishop Hogan Memorial School
gymnasium. The production, sponsored by St. Columban Catholic Church, was presented as a
dinner theatre production on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. The play
was also shown during a dessert matinee at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets were available at
Bishop Hogan School, Lauhoff Jewelry, and Heritage Floral, or by calling production
coordinator, Mary Mathew. The Sunday matinee sold out. -- C-T Photo by Dave Kinnamon |
