Fr. Tom's Tomes January 7, 2007

This week’s article is short since I am in Texas visiting my family for a late Christmas holiday although I will be back this weekend for Masses when you are reading this.

I would like to thank the Tate family for taking charge of decorating the church for the Christmas season again this year. When their mother, Lois, died last year, they started a fund with her memorial donations to purchase a new nativity scene. Our current one is beautiful, but if you come up after Mass and take a good look, many of the statues are broken and have been repaired and super glued so many times that it has become necessary to replace them. If anyone is interested in donating to the Nativity Fund, please contact the rectory.

I would also like to thank the parishioners for the many Christmas greetings and cards that I have received.

God bless you and keep you well this week.
